Tamilnadu 4th std New Books are now available for the 2024– 2025 academic year. All the fourth standard students must use the new samacheer kalvi books for the annual exams. The Minister for School Education Thiru Anbil Mahesh Poiyamozhi announced that all the Tamilnadu school books must be revised and updated with improved syllabus and patterns in each subject. As expected 4th std books are changed at last among the other books which will be distributed from 2024-25.
Tamil Nadu State Council of Educational Research and Training (TNSCERT) is taking responsible for preparing the 4th class new books with suitable chapters and pictures to explain in better way. All the school teachers are expected to carry the handbook for maintaining the students’ performance and status of the students’ learning that will be available at www.textbooksonline.tn.nic.in. The New books for 4th standard is to provide the practical knowledge over the subjects.
