Tamilnadu 2nd standard new Samacheer books are available from 2024 – 2025 academic year. All the students will be given the tamil nadu new textbooks by their respective schools for each term. The Minister for School Education Thiru Anbin Mahesh Poiyamozhi had officially informed about changing the school books for all the standards and new books will be given as per the schedule. The Tamilnadu Education Board will be preparing for the new syllabus and text contents and print the books based on the priorities.
As the Higher Secondary Education books are revised, the Examination board had decided to change for all the classes for improving the lessons in understandable way better than before. Most of the students are expected to learn well in schooling and complete the entrance exams after SSLC or HSC. In order to make the students to face the entrance exam without fear, the new books and patterns brought in for all the Samacheer books. So, the students could understand fully about the subjects and perform well in the all kinds exams that they face in future.

Tamil Nadu State Council of Educational Research and Training (TNSCERT) was working on the new 2nd standard textbooks and syllabus which has been released for 2024-25 exams. All the TN school books are uploaded online in pdf which anyone can download easily. There could be more changes done in the 2nd standard subjects such as Tamil, English, Maths, Science and Social Science as it has to be very simple for the school children to learn.
